Summary: Check-in was relatively easy. The front desk can also help arrange airport car service for $30-$35, which is nice. We had a spacious loft with a spa tub, but the spa didn't hold water so we were unable to use it during our stay. The room was clean and nice. The bathroom/shower is open air without doors. We had a water leak somewhere that caused part of the ground floor tile bathroom flooring to stay a bit wet, but it was contained and mostly unbothersome. Breakfast was lovely with fruit & granola, scrambled egg, toast, and coffee/tea. There is a metro station and shops nearby. We felt safe walking during the day. The staff was friendly, though you did have to buzz in at the main door each time you wanted access to your room. While they're usually quick to respond, once we waited ~8 min outside buzzing. This is no fun in the rain. Overall, a cute boutique hotel in a nice location with friendly staff. For the price we paid, we would absolutely recommend to others for their stay in Quito! We would stay here again.
